ZetaChain Team Announces Airdrop for Early Users

  • The ZetaChain project team will conduct an airdrop for early users of the testnet.
  • Developers stated that the snapshot for reward distribution was taken on August 20, 2023.
  • As part of the airdrop, 800,000 participants will receive 31.5 million ZETA tokens.

ZetaChain project representatives confirmed an airdrop for early users:

As part of the distribution, the ZetaLabs team plans to accrue 31.5 million ZETA tokens to users. Rewards will be distributed among 800,000 participants who were active on the testnet.

It is known that users earned over 68 billion points. These data served as the basis for distributing rewards. A snapshot of all completed activities and transactions was taken on August 20, 2023.

ZetaLabs clarified that users who scored over 50,000 points are eligible for tiered base reward amounts. They range from 50 to 20,000 ZETA. One of the conditions for accruing tokens may be undergoing the verification (KYC) procedure, project representatives reported.

In addition, in the process of allocating rewards, the team identified and removed over 300,000 accounts, suspecting them of “Sybil Attack” and violation of general participation rules.

Earlier, the Incrypted editorial staff reviewed projects that may airdrop in 2024 and selected the most promising ones:

As developers noted, the airdrop claim will be available after the project launches the mainnet. Meanwhile, ZetaLabs did not announce the exact date for launching the main network.

ZetaChain investors include venture capital funds CMT Digital, Jane Street Capital and Sky9 Capital. In 2023, the project attracted $27 million in investments.

It is worth recalling that in April 2023, the Incrypted team held an AMA session with the ambassador of the ZetaChain Ukrainian community. You can read the summary text of the meeting via the link.
