BITCOIN CAPITALIZATION EXCEEDS $1 TRILLION FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE DECEMBER 2021

On February 14, 2024, bitcoin’s capitalization exceeded $1 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap. This happened for the first time since December 2021.

The jump in the indicator occurred against the backdrop of an increase in the price of the asset. On February 14, the bitcoin exchange rate crossed the $51,000 mark.

This is not the first time this has happened. In December 2023, the asset also entered the top 10, and in January 2024, it surpassed Meta in terms of capitalization.

Earlier, Truflation experts said that high-risk assets, including bitcoin, have become more resilient to changes in the Fed’s interest rate.

Analyst Tuur Demeister, in turn, believes that the asset could reach $600,000 by 2026.
