- EigenLayer protocol will partner with AI platform Ritual.
- The partnership plans to create decentralized applications with artificial intelligence support.
Ethereum-based restacking protocol EigenLayer has partnered with AI platform Ritual. This is reported by Cointelegraph with reference to the press release.
It is known that the collaboration plans to create decentralized applications (dApps) with artificial intelligence (AI) support.
“The goal of the partnership is to implement Ethereum-level restacking security on the Ritual network and bring AI capabilities to dApps […],” the press release reads.
EigenLayer founder Sriram Kannan said that “AI-powered crypto-economic coprocessors can integrate powerful new features into the blockchain while driving economic activity.”
Ritual co-founder Neeraj Panta believes that this integration can enable more efficient decentralized applications. According to him, the partnership expands EigenLayer’s capabilities for computing using artificial intelligence technologies.
Recall that on February 15, 2024, TVL EigenLayer crossed the $7 billion mark. The growth occurred after the removal of the limit on the amount of assets in the restacking of 200,000 ETH for each pool.
The protocol also previously received a $100 million investment from Andreessen Horowitz.
