You can learn more about what bitcoin halving is in our material:

At the time of writing, miners have 9,889 blocks left to process. Thus, there are just over two months – 68 days – left until the next halving. After that, the reward for a mined bitcoin block will be reduced from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC.

Halving occurs approximately once every four years. Its date is influenced by several factors, including the activity of bitcoin miners.

Analysts at Bernstein predicted a rise in bitcoin mining stocks ahead of the halving. According to them, two bitcoin miners deserve special attention against the background of other businesses. We are talking about Riot Platforms and CleanSpark.

It is also worth recalling that in February 2024, the complexity of bitcoin mining updated the historical maximum. Since the last date of change, the indicator increased by 7.33% and reached a mark of 75.50 T.

Recall, we wrote that the US leadership was accused of trying to eliminate the bitcoin-mining industry in the country.
