Yuga Labs has announced the acquisition of startup PROOF, the developer of NFT collections PROOF Collective, Moonbirds, Oddities, Mythics and Grails.
The announcement said the firm plans to incorporate Moonbirds into its gamified meta-version of the Otherside game.
“Moonbirds is a collection with great potential and many brand unifying elements with Otherside. We also look forward to making the PROOF Collective an important part of our ongoing arts and community engagement efforts,” said Yuga Labs CEO Daniel Alegre.
Note, Yuga Labs declined to disclose any details of the deal.
It is also known that Proof CEO and founder Kevin Rose will become an advisor to Yuga Labs. He said that “the combined resources of the two companies will allow faster innovation and attract more people.”
Recall, earlier Yuga Labs finally won the court against the creators of the fake NFT-collection.
